On behalf of the local organising committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 5th Light Microscopy Australia (LMA) National Symposium, which will be held in the vibrant, harbour city of Sydney.
This year we have put together an exciting program showcasing cutting-edge microscopy techniques and their applications in biomedical and life sciences. The meeting will feature renowned international and national speakers, covering key topics such as:
Live imaging of cells, tissues, and whole organisms
Image processing and analysis
Advanced microscopy techniques and methodological developments
The main symposium seminars will take place from February 3rd to 5th, 2026, while hands-on workshops will run on February 2nd and 6th at multiple locations across Sydney.
The LMA2026 National Symposium will bring together the Australian microscopy community to discuss the latest advancements in microscopy and its research applications. This event presents an incredible opportunity for research academics, facility personnel, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, enhance their skills, and foster new collaborations that drive groundbreaking research.
