Workshop
Light-Sheet Microscopy Workshop: Sample Prep Tips, Tricks & Troubleshooting
Dive into the world of light-sheet microscopy with this practical workshop designed to help researchers overcome common hurdles in sample preparation. We’ll share field-tested tips and tricks for clearing, staining, and mounting large, intact tissues to achieve optimal imaging results. The session will also address troubleshooting strategies to resolve common issues like uneven staining, signal loss, or poor tissue transparency. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your workflow, this workshop will provide valuable insights to streamline your imaging pipeline. We’ll also showcase how the UltraMicroscope Blaze - a powerful light-sheet system for whole-organ imaging - fits into this workflow and enables high-resolution 3D visualization of complex tissues.
As part of the workshop, you’ll also receive a printed set of learning materials.
This workshop will include an educational talk by Dr. John-Paul Fuller-Jackson (University of Melbourne), who will speak on Tissue Clearing Tips and Light Sheet Imaging Insights.
