Workshop
Advanced Multiplexing with Stellaris: From STED Super-Resolution to SpectraPlex
Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney
Monday 2nd February 2026
10:00am - 1:00pm
This workshop highlights the advanced imaging capabilities of the Leica Stellaris focusing on its multiplexing power across the scale. Attendees will explore how Stellaris enables high-resolution, high plex imaging through its innovative combination of cutting-edge technologies. Topics will include:
STED imaging enhanced by fluorescence lifetime (τ-STED and τ-STED Xtend)
Strategies for multiplexing with STED
The use of the White Light Laser (WLL) and spectral detection unit for optimal excitation and emission flexibility
Spectraplex, latest high-plex imaging solution from Leica Microsystems
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in super-resolution microscopy and multiplexing approaches.
Learning Outcomes
Understand STED super resolution microscopy and exploring the role of fluorescence lifetime in this context
Apply strategies for effective multiplexing with STED
Gain insights into high plex confocal imaging using Spectraplex
